APPGF launches report on the future of farming

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Farming (APPGF) has this week released its first report into The Future of Farming after the Agriculture Bill.  The Inquiry’s report includes industry contributions from the National Farmers’ Union; British Poultry Council; CLA; Compassion in World Farming; National Office of Animal Health; National Sheep Association and Southern Water, and provides a number of key recommendations for parliamentarians shaping the new legislation. The report was launched during a reception at the Houses of Parliament, hosted by Julian Sturdy MP and All Party Parliamentary Group on Farming Chair. During the evening, he thanked members for their the contributions to the enquiry and highlighted key themes and recommendations from the report as well emphasising the need for parliamentarians to continue to hear the voice of Farming as the Bill progresses.
